Care For Your Pad

Keeping your Equitex Pad pristine is effortless. Machine washable at 30 degrees (delicate cycle) with a max spin of 600 rpm, these pads resist dirt and hair accumulation, reducing the need for frequent washing. After riding, simply turn the pad upside down to air dry. Once dry, brush or wipe off any loose hairs or salt residue. For competition pads, they can even be hosed down or jet washed to achieve a pristine finish.

The Equitex saddle pad brings you closer to your horse, improves fine communication with your horse and improves rider balance and alignment. A shock absorbing Riding Pad for an amazing riding experience.

This Pad is made up of two components that may be separated for washing. For the riders’ comfort, the top section is packed with Memory Foam. Equitex technical foam is used to make the primary section of the saddle, ensuring that the horse has the support he requires for non-saddle riding. The pad’s design prevents the horse’s spine from being compressed.

It’s constructed of a high-performance, soft premium wool with a Techvelvet underneath and comes in two colour variations. Everything is machine washable!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This TCS version has all the features and benefits of the standard Riding Pad but without the girth straps.  IT MUST NOT BE WORN WITHOUT A TSC AND GIRTH.  It will offer your horse outstanding protection and the rider incredible comfort but it is NOT stable enough to be used as a bareback pad.

NOTE: The image shows the pad with a leather patch in the girth area.  The new version may not have this patch as it’s not required.
