Equitex Saddle Pads are designed to be used in direct contact with the horse. We don't recommend you put anything underneath the pad as this will prevent your horse from benefiting fully from all the features of the pad.

Care For Your Pad

Equitex saddle pads are extremely easy to care for. There’s no need to wash them after every use. Just leave to dry and simply clean with a soft brush. After frequent use, the saddle pad can be easily washed in the washing machine at 30 °C, 600rpm spin. Quick dry at room temperature in approximately 2 hours. DO NOT tumble dry.

The General Purpose saddle pad has been designed to fit both forward cut Close Contact and General Purpose saddles.

An Airtech top side incorporates technologies from high-end athletic footwear to provide optimal breathability. The wonderful TechVelvet found on all Equitex saddle pads is on the underside, which wicks away sweat and protects the horse’s coat.

This shape looks great on every horse!

For competition pads, they can even be hosed down or jet washed to achieve a pristine finish.
