Equitex Saddle Pads are designed to be used in direct contact with the horse. We don't recommend you put anything underneath the pad as this will prevent your horse from benefiting fully from all the features of the pad.

Care For Your Pad

Equitex saddle pads are extremely easy to care for. There’s no need to wash them after every use. Just leave to dry and simply clean with a soft brush. After frequent use, the saddle pad can be easily washed in the washing machine at 40 °C and stays in shape even after many washings. Quick dry at room temperature in approximately 2 hours. DO NOT tumble dry.

Our exceptional Endurance Saddle Pad is meticulously crafted to ensure no seams or stitching come into contact with the horse, making it perfect for Endurance riding as it prevents rubbing.

The sleek design ensures maximum airflow for hot horses and hot days. An Airtech top side incorporates technologies from high-end athletic footwear to provide optimal breathability and quick drying. The wonderful TechVelvet found on all Equitex saddle pads is on the underside, which wicks away sweat and protects the horse’s coat.

Machine washable at 30 degrees (delicate cycle) with a max spin of 600 rpm, these pads resist dirt and hair accumulation, reducing the need for frequent washing. After riding, simply turn the pad upside down to air dry. Once dry, brush or wipe off any loose hairs or salt residue. For competition pads, they can even be hosed down or jet washed to achieve a pristine finish.
