Care For Your Pad

Easy Care: Keeping your Equitex Pad pristine is effortless. Machine washable at 30 degrees (delicate cycle) with a max spin of 300 rpm, these pads resist dirt and hair accumulation, reducing the need for frequent washing. After riding, simply turn the pad upside down to air dry. Once dry, brush or wipe off any loose hairs or salt residue. For competition pads, they can even be hosed down or jet washed to achieve a pristine finish.
Please avoid folding your pad to prevent creasing the felt.

These pads are bespoke made to order.  Loden fabric is a durable, dense, water-repellent, woollen fabric; originally worn by farmers and shepherds in the Austrian Alps.  The fabric is elegant and functional and combined with an underside of the TechVelvet found on all Equitex saddle pads, that wicks away sweat and protects the horse’s coat.
