Care For Your Pad

Equitex saddle pads are extremely easy to care for. There’s no need to wash them after every use. Just leave to dry and simply clean with a soft brush. After frequent use, the saddle pad can be easily washed in the washing machine at 40 °C and stays in shape even after many washings. Quick dry at room temperature in approximately 2 hours. DO NOT tumble dry.

No 1 for Impact Absorption: Uber Breathable: Non-Slip: No Straps: Improved Saddle Fit: No Rubbing: Durable: Easy Care: Built in Half Pad: Premium saddle pad.

Loden fabric is a durable, dense, water-repellent, woollen fabric; originally worn by farmers and shepherds in the Austrian Alps.  The fabric is elegant and functional and combined with an underside of the TechVelvet found on all Equitex saddle pads, that wicks away sweat and protects the horse’s coat.

Key Features

Equitex Saddle Pads: Scientifically proven, the World's-leading equine back protection

🐎 Unparalleled Back Protection: Our responsive foam inner core compensates for imperfections and expertly prevents pressure points, ensuring flawless weight distribution.

🌬️ Breathable and Moisture-Wicking: Engineered with the market's most breathable and moisture-wicking materials, Equitex Saddle Pads keep your horse cool and dry. Beneath, the high-quality TechVelvet surface resists dirt accumulation and boasts quick-drying, antibacterial properties.

🌦️ Built to Last: No matter the conditions—sweat, cold, heat, or rain—Equitex Pads remain soft and smooth.

🚫 Guaranteed Non-Slip: Silica grips firmly anchor the pad to the saddle, eliminating any unwanted movement in all directions. Notably, they won't adhere to your horse's coat. Ideal for barrel-shaped horses with minimal withers, these pads require NO STRAPS to stay securely in place.

🐴 Spine Clearance: Engineered with a generous 50mm clearance over the wither and spine, Equitex Pads maintain this vital clearance at all times, thanks to their slip-resistant design. Check your horse's spine after every ride—it will remain dry, even on scorching days, thanks to the continuous airflow provided by our pads.

🧼 Easy Care: Keeping your Equitex Pad pristine is effortless. Machine washable at 30 degrees (delicate cycle) with a max spin of 600 rpm, these pads resist dirt and hair accumulation, reducing the need for frequent washing. After riding, simply turn the pad upside down to air dry. Once dry, brush or wipe off any loose hairs or salt residue. For competition pads, they can even be hosed down or jet washed to achieve a pristine finish.
